HOPE Group provides services based in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), as it is endorsed by a number of state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Surgeon General as an effective treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disorders. Training classes based in ABA are available to new hires, parents, and current employees. The ABA principles and techniques taught throughout the classes can then be implemented in the home to foster basic skill acquisition, and complex skills in order for each individual to live to their fullest potential.
To become an active provider at HOPE Group, a series of new hire training classes must be completed; Habilitation Workshop, Orientation, Article 9 and First Aid/CPR.
Free trainings are available for parents throughout the month and cover topics that include; Autism 101, Intro to ABA, Balancing Support, Toilet Training, and Verbal Behavior.
In order to maintain highly qualified staff, Hope Group offers and requires many different training classes to current employees. As an active employee you will be paid to take these classes. If you are a current employee and looking to continue your education or learn more effective techniques to benefit yourself while working with your client, please click here.
Training is a fundamental part of being able to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, therefore, ACE classes are also provided as approved through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
